Converse One Star Pro Ox Shoes

Arriving in a new cypress green colourway for the season, this edition of the Converse One Star Pro Ox has been constructed from rubber backed suede with signature Converse decoration in the form of cut out stars on either side panel which reveals the rubber underlay. A line of perforation can be seen to one side of the star and subtle top stitching outlines the design before continuing along the laces border where polyester cotton blend laces have been colour matched to suit the rest of the design. The elasticated tongue is padded for comfort with an embossed Converse CONS logo towards the outer top edge which is concealed by the laces. On the back of the heel a panel of hairy suede adds additional texture to the design and around the inner ankle collar a cypress green leather border will soften over time for all-day comfort. Throughout the inside of the shoe a dual density Ortholite sockliner with a CX foam insole provides protection from impact and a large CONS logo has been printed in black for further branding. Underfoot the matte black CONS traction rubber outsole has a highly durable finish with an additional textured panel around the front of the foot and an embossed heel stamp. Completing the design, the brown tread pattern provides reliable grip for wear across a variety of terrains.

Originally released as a basketball style in 1974 the Converse One Star Pro has been reworked and updated many times since its inception and is now considered one of the brands most favoured footwear designs. As part of the Converse CONS skateboarding focused line, the One Star now boasts an array of performance driven features that ensure the design stands up to repetitive wear, abrasion and impact.
